WARRANTY

FIVE YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD
SCOREMASTER warrants that the units, components and parts of the goals less the nets and
accessories (hereinafter individually or collectively called the “goals”) are new and unused and
are manufactured by SCOREMASTER with a limited five year warranty. For a period of five years
after delivery, SCOREMASTER or their agents will repair or replace any of the goals that are found
to be defective in factory materials or workmanship less any shipping or handling costs. Nets and
accessories are warranted for six months to be free of defects in materials and workmanship.
REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS
Under the warranty, repairs or replacements will be made free of charge for both parts and labour
after delivery of the defective product to SCOREMASTER, 2074 Henry Ave., Sidney, B.C. Canada,
V8L 3S6 or to their authorised agents. Freight charges are expressly not covered in this
agreement however SCOREMASTER will arrange low cost freight and, in exceptional cases,
reserves the right to cover a portion or all of such charges.
SCOREMASTER highly recommends that repairs be carried out at their facilities. A written
quotation for repairs from a customer wishing to enact their own repairs, or from a suitable
approved repair facility chosen by the customer (or SCOREMASTER) must be submitted to
SCOREMASTER before a warranty claim will be granted. SCOREMASTER reserves the right to
authorise repairs undertaken by customers, or their choice of agents other than SCOREMASTER,
or its agents. This authorisation will be in the form of a purchase order from SCOREMASTER. The
customer or repair facility MUST be in receipt of a purchase order for any warranty claim PRIOR
TO COMMENCEMENT OF WORK.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Damage from accidents, vandalism, fire, misuse, negligence and failures caused by goals not
supplied by SCOREMASTER or modification of the whole or any part of the goals, is not covered
by this warranty. SCOREMASTER neither assumes, nor shall be liable for any loss of use of the
goals, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, consequential loss, injury, death or special or
general damages, however arising. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF any other
expressed or implied warranty, condition, guarantee or representation by any person or company
with respect to the goals, including any implied warranty as to fitness. Goals not manufactured by
SCOREMASTER or goals sold as used are not warranted by SCOREMASTER. SCOREMASTER
shall use reasonable efforts in assisting the purchaser in the handling of warranty claims.
Notice of all claims for warranty must be forwarded promptly in writing, with photographs (if
required), by prepaid first class mail, fax, email or internet claim fork to:
